EWDL Intiative are My Indore Clean Indore and Save a Life

My Indore Clean Indore

Indore Municipal Corporation is taking several measures to improve hygienic conditions in the city. EWDL supports government machinery by floating a strong message motivating people to keep surroundings clean and safe. We believe, it’s extremely difficult to keep houses, workplaces, roads, squares etc clean without individual efforts; people are asked to maintain hygienic conditions and throw garbage, dust, wastage etc in trashbins.

Campaign also high-lightened the importance of tress; oxygen production, cleaning the soil, controlling noise pollution, slowing down storm water runoff, acting as carbon sinks, cleaning the air, providing shade and coolness, being windbreaks and fighting soil erosion can be considered as the first few reasons why trees are priceless.

Besides these, drawing & essay contests are organized on regular basics at Treasure Island on various themes. Students of various schools participate in these contests to inspire the society at large for social cause. EWDL through its endeavors, attract the attention of communities towards the social causes which generally remains unaddressed.

Save a Life

For EWDL, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is ‘the ethical behavior of a company towards the society’. To curb the rising tide of road mishaps, we’ve weaved in the concept of ‘Save a Life Today’ which transcended 'cheque book' philanthropy.
Launched in a high-octane energetic fashion, campaign evoked the people to value their life & drive safely on the roads. Inspired by the initiative, more than 10 thousand students wrote letters urging their parents to drive slowly & safely.
Linking up with like-minded bodies and networking with the traffic department has enhanced the campaign’s effectiveness as a change catalyst.
